Featuring Scott Robertson, who was the first lawyer designated by the Law Society of Ontario as a Certified Specialist in Indigenous Legal Issues. Following his own Haudenosaunee concepts of self-government and self-determination, he has developed a unique practice dealing with the development of Indigenous governance models in support of community led initiatives to assert jurisdiction over on-reserve sales and taxation of fuel, tobacco, and cannabis.

After spending 40 years in First Nations leadership and business development, Chief Clarence Louie is offering a series of 2-day workshops for Chiefs, Councillors, CAOs, CEOs, Development Corporation executives and staff where he will share the secrets of the Osoyoos Indian Band’s success.

The next REZGAS Masterclass Workshop is being held from September 16th – 18th, 2025 at the spectacular NK’MIP Resort in Osoyoos, BC.

Workshop Topics Include:
Negotiating fuel deals, best practices in HR Policies and Practices, the very latest in POS systems, pumps and other equipment, gas station design, optimising CStore layouts, connecting with new suppliers and product lines, legal advice on sovereign models and suppliers for cannabis and tobacco retail stores, marketing and branding/rebranding, and choosing the right franchises.

The cost per person is $2,800 plus GST, which includes all meals, guided tours of the Osoyoos Band’s gas stations, convenience stores, businesses and community buildings, and the 2 days of workshops sessions facilitated by Chief Louie and Geoff Greenwell and led by experts from the Gas Station, Cannabis, Tobacco and CStore industries.
