The Format of the 2022 NABOC Osoyoos Power Networking Weekend is as follows:
The networking at our Power Networking Weekend starts with a welcome reception from 6pm – 8pm on April 29th in the NK’MIP Conference Centre.
APRIL 30th, DAY 1
Day 1 starts with doors opening and breakfast being served from 7:30am in the conference centre and from there delegates will be transported to the NK’MIP Canyon golf course for an 18-hole round. Non-golfers are welcome to arrange one-on-one meetings at the conference centre from 7:30am – Noon.
At 12:30pm the group will split in half and a gourmet lunch will be served for everyone at either the famous Sonora Room Restaurant at the Burrowing Owl Estate Winery or the Miradoro Restaurant at the spectacular Tinhorn Creek winery.
At 2:30pm we will reconvene in the NK’MIP conference centre for presentations from industry executives from a diverse range of sectors. These presentations will focus on partnership, supplier and joint venture opportunities for First Nations business groups.
At 6pm dinner and drinks will be served in the conference centre and delegates can spend time one-on-one networking until midnight. We’ll also have live entertainment throughout the evening.
MAY 1st, DAY 2
Day 2 starts with doors opening and breakfast being served from 8:30am and then delegates will be transported to the nearby AREA 27 Racetrack to see some of the most expensive race cars in Canada.
At 11:30am the lunch groups from day 1 will switch and another gourmet lunch with wine pairings will be served for everyone at either the famous Sonora Room Restaurant at the Burrowing Owl Estate Winery or the Miradoro Restaurant at the spectacular Tinhorn Creek winery.
After lunch our local tour guides will take delegates to three other Osoyoos wineries for tastings and an opportunity to purchase some of their world class wines.
The wine tour will end at 4pm and delegates can either travel home that evening or stay another night and join us for a hospitality event.
