CONFERENCE DELIVERY | Effective Date: January 1st, 2020
At 2G Group, through our Aboriginal Marketplace Events division, we are committed to delivering high quality events. We always strive to use professional venues, AV systems and excellent caterers. In some of the locations we run events, however we may have to use community facilities such as hockey arenas and gymnasiums.
The health and safety of our delegates is of the utmost importance to us, and we reserve the right to run “virtual conferences” or adjust conference dates if there are public health concerns around large gatherings due to government policies and alerts. Our first choice will always be to reschedule an event to be close to the original dates of any conference that has to be moved due to a public emergency. A Virtual Conference will provide the same conference content, sponsor/exhibitor opportunities and benefits as well as the ability to network individually and in groups via livestreaming and internet platforms. Delegates will attend Virtual Conferences from the safety of their own homes and offices, preventing them being exposed to infection of contagious viruses, diseases or other public health safety issues. The costs to delegates, sponsors and exhibitors for attending a Virtual Conference will be the same as attending in-person.

WHAT IS PERSONAL INFORMATION?
Personal information is information about an identifiable individual. Your personal information includes your full name, consumer type, address, telephone number, date of birth, email address, and any other information that identifies who you are or would allow someone to contact you. Personal information only becomes known to 2G Group when you provide it to us, or when a third party, such as a travel agent, family member or other party books a delegate space on your behalf, or when a third party, such as a credit card services provider provides personal information to 2G Group with your consent.
CONSENT
It is our policy to collect, use and disclose personal information about you with your knowledge and consent, unless otherwise required or allowed by law. Prior to collecting personal information, it is our policy to identify the purposes for doing so and to limit the collection, use and disclosure of personal information to those purposes.
Generally, we will collect personal information from you, and use it and disclose it with express consent received from you or from someone on your behalf. There will be occasions where we will either contact you with offers and services that we feel will be of interest to you or rely on opt-out consent for such contact. We will use opt out consent only in circumstances where the personal information in question is not sensitive, where the purposes and circumstances are limited and well-defined and brought to your attention at the time personal information is collected, or where you are given an opportunity to opt-out or withdraw your consent then or at any time by contacting us.
If we identify a new purpose for using or disclosing your personal information, unless otherwise required by law, we will contact you to obtain your consent for the new use or disclosure and we may use your contact information, including your email address, to do so.
